  • 4 cloves garlic, minced aromatic and savory, the backbone of this recipe
  • 1 cup heavy cream velvety smooth, creating the luxurious sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese sharp and nutty, thickening the sauce beautifully
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning a fragrant blend that infuses the dish with warmth
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional for heat, adding a subtle kick
  • 2 cups baby spinach fresh and vibrant, brightening up the plate

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and juicy. Remove and set aside.
  • Add mussels to the skillet with a splash of water. Cover and steam for about 4 minutes until they open.
  • Toss in minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until melty and smooth.
  • Add spinach and let it wilt.
  • Return the shrimp and mussels to the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.

Notes

Ensure seafood is fresh and avoid overcooking. A splash of white wine can enhance flavor, but use halal options. Always taste as you go to adjust seasonings.
