Ingredients
  

For the Sliders

  • 1 package 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls or soft slider rolls soft and fluffy
  • 3 cups 3 cups (about 420 g) shredded rotisserie chicken tender and savory
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup (80 g) mayonnaise rich and creamy
  • 1-2 tablespoons 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce to taste, for a spicy kick
  • 6 slices 6 slices provolone cheese melty and delicious
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup (50 g) sliced dill pickles drained, crunchy and tangy
  • 1 small 1 small tomato thinly sliced and patted dry
  • 1/4 small 1/4 small red onion thinly sliced

For the Garlic Herb Butter

  • 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoons (56 g) unsalted butter melted, for richness
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic finely grated or minced
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley vibrant and fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning a blend of herbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt to enhance flavors
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese optional, for extra depth

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment for easier lifting.
  • Keep the rolls attached and slice the whole slab in half horizontally with a serrated knife.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and hot sauce.
  • Scatter the shredded rotisserie chicken evenly over the mayo layer. Then layer on the provolone cheese, followed by the sliced pickles, tomato, and red onion.
  • In another bowl, stir the melted butter with garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and Parmesan, if using.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on the filling and brush the buttery herb mixture generously over the tops.

Cooking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the tops are golden and lightly crisp.
  • Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes. Cut along the roll seams with a serrated knife and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use fresh rolls and don't skip on toasting the tops with garlic herb butter. Adjust the hot sauce based on your spice preference.
