For the Mashed Potatoes

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed Naturally creamy when mashed.
  • 1/2 cup milk For a silky texture.
  • 1/4 cup butter For indulgent mash.
  • Additional salt and pepper, to taste For balance.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil the cubed potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain the water completely and mash the potatoes with 1/4 cup of butter, milk, and salt and pepper to taste until creamy and smooth.

Cooking the Steak Bites

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Fry the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add 3 tbsp of butter and minced garlic, sautéing until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Serving

  • Spoon creamy mashed potatoes onto plates and top with garlic butter steak bites, garnishing with fresh parsley.
