Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine warm milk, pineapple juice, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • Add the melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture and whisk until well combined.
  • Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes by hand or with a stand mixer until it is smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until it has doubled in size.
  • Punch the dough down gently to release the air. Divide into equal portions and shape into smooth balls.
  • Arrange the dough balls in a greased baking dish, cover them, and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Once baked, brush the warm rolls generously with melted butter before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure ingredients are at the correct temperatures. Kneading the dough thoroughly is vital for structure. Allow sufficient rising time for fluffy rolls.
