Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Introduce the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper, mixing thoroughly.
  • Add soy sauce, hot honey, and apple cider vinegar, stirring until thickened, about 2–3 minutes.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Remove the skillet from heat and divide the cooked rice into serving bowls.
  • Top each bowl with the hot honey beef mixture, followed by shredded carrots, cucumber slices, avocado, and red cabbage.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately.

Notes

Prepare ingredients in advance for quicker cooking. Use a non-stick skillet for easier cleanup. Avoid crowding the skillet to ensure proper browning of beef.
