Instructions
 

Sautéing the Seafood

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the shrimp, season with a pinch of salt and Old Bay, and sauté until pink and juicy, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Gently fold in the crab meat, ensuring it warms through, then set the seafood medley aside.

Creating the White Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, cooking until soft and aromatic.
  • Sprinkle in the flour, stirring to create a roux.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, allowing the mixture to simmer and thicken for about 5-7 minutes.

Mixing the Ricotta

  • In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, chopped parsley, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
  • Stir until everything is evenly blended, forming a smooth mixture.

Layering the Lasagna

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the noodles, followed by the ricotta mixture, seafood, and a portion of white sauce.
  • Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella on top.
  • Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
