Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Once they are perfectly al dente, drain and set aside.
  • Toss the thinly sliced flank steak with cornstarch until each piece is evenly coated.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer to sear.
  • Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until it's browned and slightly crispy. Remove from pan.
  • In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sliced red bell pepper and shredded carrots, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the seared beef to the pan and pour in the reserved sauce. Stir well.
  • Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions, chili flakes, and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Ensure your skillet or wok is hot before adding the beef for a good sear. Customize vegetables based on what you have on hand.
